It is a sad fact that at some point most people will get scammed in their online ventures by somebody pretending to have all the answers (I did myself a few times along the way). At some point most people will believe that they have been ripped off by a product that they have bought and as a whole this does not give the industry a good name.
The whole reason I have created this site is to try and help you avoid the SCAM products that are out there. Believe me there is nothing worse than being tricked into parting with your money and not having anything to show for it.
There are a few easy ways to see that something is probably a SCAM and we will go through them together.
“Best Ways To Help You Spot An Online Scam”
A Sales Page With Only A Video On It
If you go to a sales page for a website and all you see is a video the best piece of advice I can give you is RUN! The website owners that do this force you to sit through their overly long sales videos. They use all sorts of trickery to manipulate you into buying there product which nine times out of ten is either very weak or a SCAM.
No Contact Details
If any company does not provide contact details then the quite simply should not be there. This definitely a bad sign and any one that does this will probably totally vanish once they have tricked you out of your hard earned cash.
No Product Support
One thing that is critical with any online product is that you receive support from the company that sells it if you run into problems. It is always a good idea to try and test this support before you part with your money as this is a good indication of how they will behave going forward. One of the best ways is to try and email them. If you don’t get a good response from this then it is best to steer clear.
60 Day Money Back Guarantee
This wasn’t something I used to see much. Most of the products online only offered 30 days but all of a sudden that is now 60. While this is good in principal it is not always as honest as it sounds. Most products that continually emphasis this option is more than likely a weak affiliate marketing product and should be avoided.
Lots of Upsells
If the product you buy tries to make you buy again this is known as an upsell and there can be a lot of them. One of the usual tricks is to sell you something really cheaply. When you do you find you have to buy hundreds of dollars more just to complete things. Whenever you consider buying a product you need to try and obtain a trial to evaluate if it is for you.
Laughable claims of success
One thing that is very true online is success does not come overnight. It takes a while to build a good website with content that will rank well. You will be shown the right way to do this in Wealthy Affiliate. Any one that claims anything else is telling lies it is as simple as that.
If you see pictures of mansions, fast cars or people on the beach sipping expensive drinks then you will more than likely be walking into a SCAM as it will come under the category laughable claims of success and will certainly lack substance.
Thankyou everyone I hope this helps you and if you have any comments please leave them below.
